| Description | Theresa Mogavero Simmons is a 1983 graduate of Villanova University. Thereafter, she attended the University of Bridgeport School of Law, where she received her law degree in 1986. Later that year, she was admitted to practice law in Pennsylvania. After years of zealous advocacy, Ms. Simmons earned her diploma in Trial Advocacy from the National Institute of Trial Advocacy, in Boulder Colorado. In her initial years of practice, Ms. Simmons defended thousands of criminal matters as a Bucks County Assistant Public Defender. After leaving the Public Defender’s Office, Ms. Simmons entered private practice in 1990. For the next seventeen years, Ms. Simmons tried hundreds of matters involving personal injury, premises liability, social security law, and criminal defense as a partner of Cordisco, Bradway, & Simmons. Ms. Simmons joined Palmer & Barr in 2007, where she continues to obtain successful verdicts. She became a partner in January 2010. Ms. Simmons is a member of the Bucks County Bar Association and the Bucks County Inn of Court. Since 2001, Ms. Simmons has acted as President of the Board of Directors of Neighborhood First. Ms. Simmons is admitted to practice before the Pennsylvania Supreme Court, as well as the United States District Court for the Eastern and Middle District of Pennsylvania. Additionally, Ms. Simmons has been admitted to practice before the Supreme Court of the United States. |
