| Description | Attorney Michele Wojcik joined the firm in 1999 and is a Partner at Nuzzo & Roberts, LLC. She graduated from Central Connecticut State University in 1993 with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science, and then earned her J.D. from University of Connecticut School of Law in 1998. While at CCSU Attorney Wojcik was inducted into the Phi Sigma Alpha honor society for political science majors. Attorney Wojcik earned an Associate of Science Degree from Manchester Community College in 1990 in Legal Assistant.Attorney Wojcik was admitted to the Connecticut State Bar in 1998 and the U.S. District Court, District of Connecticut in 1999. She practices in the areas insurance coverage litigation, insurance bad faith litigation, professional liability insurance agent/broker errors and omissions. She is experienced in legal malpractice and insurance defense litigation. Her clients include numerous insurance companies, insurance agents and insurance brokers. She enjoys a high success rate in prevailing on declaratory judgment actions brought by insurance companies to determine the duty to defend and indemnify. She is also experienced in appellate practice. Representative decisions include Vibert v. Board of Education of Regional School District No. 10, 260 Conn. 167 (2002); Pamela B. v. Ment, 244 Conn. 296 (1998). Attorney Wojcik frequently presents seminars to clients on current insurance coverage and bad faith issues and has been presenter for NBI (National Business Institute) and the American Bar Association, Insurance Coverage and Litigation Committee.Attorney Wojcik is an active member of the Connecticut Bar Association’s Insurance Law Committee, and a member of CLM (Claims Litigation Management Alliance). She is a member of CLM’s Insurance Coverage Litigation Committee and is currently the co-chair of the Wiki Projects Subcommittee. Attorney Wojcik was a member of the Newington Town Plan and Zoning Commission from 2007 to 2013 serving as Secretary, Vice Chairman and Chairman.
