| Description | Civil trial practice is an area that particularly holds Mr. Banks’ interest. Although the vast majority of cases are settled, I treat every case as if it will be tried, he said. Every strategy I employ is geared toward the possibility that the case will ultimately end up in front of a jury. There are many litigators, but few can actually successfully take a case to trial. Mr. Banks thrives on achieving a fair and honest outcome for his clients. Over the years, I have learned that my clients are not trying to escape obligation, but simply want to pay what is fair, he said. If I tell a client a case should go to trial, then I will push for a trial and a jury verdict. When cases should be settled, I will so inform the client. I have no need to run up billable hours. My goal is to achieve the best possible outcome for clients, without compromising my integrity.
