Before coming to Schuchat, Cook & Werner, George represented unions and individual employees while with the firm of Wiley, Craig, Armbruster, Wilburn & Mills until 1988 and with Wilburn & Suggs until 2002. In 2008, he successfully argued before the Missouri Supreme Court in the case Reichert v. St. Louis Board of Education, which held that employees of the St. Louis Public Schools could not be placed on layoff in favor of subcontractors. He is listed in the publication The Best Lawyers in America2008, 2009 and 2010, Woodward/White Top Attorneys in the Metro St. Louis Region 2009 and 2010 and Kansas/Missouri Superlawyers 2009 and 2010.
