| Description | I have been handling tax issues with the Internal Revenue Service and Georgia Department of Revenue since 1984. I deal with a variety of tax controversies, and have been very successful with innocent spouse cases, wage and bank levies, offers in compromise, tax settlements, and collection appeals. I represent and advise clients with foreign bank accounts in the Offshore Voluntary Disclosure Program, handle sensitive audits, IRS and Department of Revenue appeals, challenge payroll tax and Trust Fund Recovery Penalty assessments, as well as cases that have to go to the U.S. Tax Court. Additionally, I represent and advise small businesses and their owners in a variety of matters, such as contract review, acquisitions and sales of businesses, and other corporate and limited liability company transactions. I have also represented accountants and tax return preparers when they are either being audited or penalized by the Internal Revenue Service or Department of Revenue. |
