After graduating magna cum laude from Texas A&M University in College Station with a major in Political Science and a minor in Arabic Studies, Mr. Takla went on to study at the University of Houston Law Center. During this time, Michael worked at a prestigious plaintiff law firm, was a traveling Moot Court competitor, and an editor and writer for the Journal of Consumer & Commercial Law. Since then, Mr. Takla has worked at two prestigious plaintiff law firms, where he represented clients against some of the biggest insurance companies and corporations in the United States. His reason for becoming a plaintiff personal injury attorney is sadly all too common: after his father suffered a heart attack, his insurance company denied his claim. A junior in high school, Mr. Takla fought and got the insurance company to accept the coverage while his father recovered. Joining Patrick Daniel Law in 2019, he is dedicated and works hard to ensure that his clients do not have to deal with this experience alone and can recover with peace of mind. His goal in every case is simple to outwork, outperform, and outsmart the other side. When he’s not working on a case, Mr. Takla, can be found rooting on the Texas Aggies, Houston Texans or spending time with his family.
