Dickhut joined McKee, Voorhees & Sease, PLC after graduating with distinction from the University of Iowa College of Law, and receiving a Bachelor of Science degree in Biological Research from Loras College. Sarah also received a Master of Arts in philosophy from the University of Iowa. Sarah has experience working with inventors and start-up businesses in intellectual property matters, particularly intellectual property issues pertaining to biotechnology/biochemistry and medical devices. Additionally, Sarah has published several articles in law journals around the country; her research interests center primarily on the intersectionality between intellectual property law and pharmaceutical patent enforcement, complex litigation, and international law.Outside of work, Sarah enjoys backpacking through the national parks, traveling, and going for runs with her Australian Shepherd/Greyhound dog, Lady. In her free time, Sarah likes to write, and read about philosophical issues impacting the law, such as applied ethics and human rights.
