| Description | Steve has over 30 years of experience representing clients involved in (a) tax disputes with the Internal Revenue Service, state, and local taxing authorities, (b) business disputes with co-owners, employees, competitors, or other persons, or (c) business transactions, including initial formation, management, finance, acquisition, merger, and disposition of business entities. In order to better serve his clients, Steve has developed and continues to expand strategic affiliations with attorneys and other professionals in Maryland and Virginia. Steve received his B.A. in Accounting from Loyola University in 1977. While working full time as an IRS Agent, Steve passed the CPA examination, then attended the University of Maryland School of Law, where he was selected as a member and associate editor of the Maryland Law Review. Since graduating from law school in 1983, Steve has been actively engaged in private practice, initially as an associate and a partner with a large Baltimore law firm, before starting his own firm in 1993.
