| Description | William Billy Joyner is an associate attorney at The Haug Law Group. Prior to joining the firm his practice focused on insurance defense, civil rights, and employment discrimination. While working for insurance companies Billy learned how adjusters evaluate and strategize on personal injury cases. He now brings that experience to work for people who have been harmed and are looking for recompense. He has litigated in both federal and state courts in Tennessee and Georgia. Billy is a native of Atlanta, attended Chamblee High School, and earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Georgia. He attended law school at American University Washington College of Law. While there, he was the Editor-in-Chief of the National Security Law Brief, a member of the Moot Court Honor Society, and served as a Dean’s Fellow for the Program on Law & Government, The Office of Clinical Programs, The Externship Program, and Professor Herman Schwartz. Before law school he worked on political campaigns in many capacities for over 15 years. Billy and his wife Lauren have two dogs: Maggie and Elmo. They spend their free time exploring small towns in the south and fall Saturdays rooting for Dawgs. |
