| Description | Attorney Michael E. Ellery knows how insurance adjusters and defense attorneys think because he started out his career in these roles. When he graduated from the University of Arizona in 1987 with his bachelor’s degree, he worked as an insurance adjuster. In fact, he worked for two of the biggest insurance companies in the nation before becoming a lawyer an experience that would later give him a unique insider’s view into insurance companies’ practices. Eventually Mr. Ellery found that he much preferred helping people over defending the insurance companies and corporations whose primary concern is their own profits. Today, he exclusively represents injured people as an integral part of our firm. It’s way more satisfying to have a direct impact on people’s lives and to work with regular people, rather than working for insurance companies. Doing well for our clients individuals injured in accidents is a better place to be, in my opinion. Attorney Michael E. Ellery Mr. Ellery knows how insurance companies operate and the tactics their defense attorneys use to delay, deny, and attempt to decrease the value of claims. And thanks to this unique, firsthand insight, he knows how to thwart these efforts to keep our clients from getting the money they deserve. He does not permit the insurance adjusters and defense attorneys involved in our clients’ cases to stoop to deceptive tricks. It’s this steadfast commitment to what’s right that helps him get his clients the favorable outcomes they deserve. Mr. Ellery handles personal injury claims of all kinds. In particular, he enjoys working on cases that involve automobile accidents, work-related injuries, defective product accidents, slip and fall injuries, and premises liability claims. Since joining Console and Associates, P.C., Michael Ellery has helped our clients recover more than $20 million in damages. In addition to his experience handling plaintiff and defense work as an attorney, Mr. Ellery has served in other roles in the legal community. For more than a decade, he has been a certified arbitrator in the Philadelphia Court of Common Pleas. In this role, other lawyers hire Mr. Ellery to help resolve their cases through private arbitration and mediation, to the benefit of both parties. Mr. Ellery has also been a Judge Pro Tempore in the Philadelphia Court of Common Pleas for several years.
