| Description | Although she was born in California, Ms. Davis comes from a traditional Hispanic New Mexican family who has lived in New Mexico for over two hundred years. Ms. Davis attended the Albuquerque Academy, grades 6 through 12, and went on to attend the University of New Mexico for both undergraduate and graduate school. Ms Davis obtained her juris doctorate in 2013 and her LL.M. in Taxation from Boston University in 2016. While at the University of New Mexico School of Law she received the following awards and honors: 2013 Recipient of the Thomson West Group Award for Domestic Relations; 2012 Recipient of the Cochran Award; 2012 Recipient of the Carlos F. Vigil Scholarship; 2012 Academic Scholarship, Family Law Section of the New Mexico State Bar; 2011-2012 Joseph J. Mullins Scholarship Award for Domestic Relations; and Honor Roll: Fall 2011, Fall 2010. |
